International Climate Policy, Advocacy, and Communications
Engaging and mobilizing the United Nations
We have developed international climate policy submissions to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD). Other projects included advocacy strategy, coalition mobilization, and media campaigns.
Grantwriting and Development Strategy
ESCA Cancer Support
ESCA provides free counseling and support services to current cancer patients and their families. We helped build organizational capacity by securing a $50k grant for program services and operations.
Program Evaluation
We helped our clients evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of their gang member intervention program. Through quantitative analysis and interviews, we developed a comprehensive and standardized measurement system that reveals critical, relevant information to evaluate outcomes and program success.
Affordable Housing Pathways
Self-Help Credit Union
We provided background on affordable housing policy in North Carolina with a focus on the City and County of Durham. We recommended investment and construction pathways for Self-Help to expand affordable housing supply for residents.
Video Storytelling
Walltown Children's Theater has provided arts education to the Walltown and Durham communities for twenty years. As part of their 15th Anniversary celebration, we profiled a student named Axel who was rehearsing for the lead role in their annual holiday Nutcracker dance production. This is Axel's story, in his own words.
Behavioral Economics Strategy and Implementation
Our team developed a strategy to increase parent participation in a Children's Savings Account Program. We incorporated perspectives and guidance from the Mayor's Office and East Durham Children's Initiative to create and implement the multi-year pilot program.
